Charmaine Shea - BHK, MScPT
Physiotherapy Resident
Charmaine is a caring and supportive physiotherapist with a special interest in vestibular and concussion rehabilitation. She obtained her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto, and has a Bachelor of Human Kinetics with a minor in Psychology from the University of British Columbia Okanagan. Her past experience as a physiotherapy assistant and wrestling coach informs her motivational and encouraging approach to care.
Charmaine has completed courses in vestibular rehabilitation, intensive training with our directors, and mentorship with the multidisciplinary team in the Hertz Clinic for Meniere’s Disease and Vestibular Dysfunction at UHN. She has also assisted in developing online vestibular courses.
She is passionate about helping people with vestibular dysfunction, as their symptoms and challenges often go unnoticed. Her collaborative approach to treatment will provide you with a better understanding of your condition and a personalized plan to achieve your goals.
Outside of work, Charmaine enjoys rock climbing, customizing shoes, and is currently learning American Sign Language.
